Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Nekank Studio (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our games and applications published on the App Store and Google Play (the “Apps”), and when you visit nekank.com.

1. Who we are

Nekank Studio is an independent game studio based in Türkiye. The data controller responsible for your information is:

2. Information we collect

We do not ask you to enter personal information such as your name, address or phone number to play our games. Some information is collected automatically by our Apps and by the third-party services built into them:

• Device information: device model, operating system version, language, screen size and app version.
• Identifiers: advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID; on iOS, the IDFA only if you allow tracking), the identifier for vendor (IDFV), app instance IDs and similar installation identifiers.
• Usage data: gameplay progress, session length, levels reached, in-app events and crash reports.
• Approximate location: country or region derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
• Purchase information: if you make an in-app purchase, payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google. We only receive a confirmation of the purchase, never your card or payment details.
• Account information (only if the App offers sign-in): your Game Center or Google Play Games player ID and display name, and your saved game data.
• Support communications: your e-mail address and the content of your message when you contact us.

3. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Third-party services

Our Apps use the following services, which may collect information under their own privacy policies. Not every App uses every service; each App's store listing (“App Privacy” on the App Store, “Data safety” on Google Play) shows what that App collects.

5. Advertising, tracking and consent

Some of our Apps show ads.

• EEA, UK and Switzerland: before showing personalised ads we ask for your consent using a consent form from a Google-certified consent management platform.
• iOS: we only access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) or track you across other companies' apps and websites if you allow it in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• Türkiye: personalised ads are shown only with your explicit consent.

You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings menu. You can also limit tracking in your device settings: on iOS under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, on Android under Settings › Google › Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID. If you decline, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalised.

6. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above:

• Analytics and crash data: kept by the respective services according to their retention settings, generally no longer than 14 months.
• Game progress and account data: kept while you use the App, and deleted on request as described on our Account & Data Deletion page.
• Purchase records: kept for up to 10 years where required by Turkish tax and commercial law.
• Support e-mails: kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.

7. Children

Our Apps are not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If an App is designed for children, its store listing will say so and it will follow the applicable store rules, including Google Play's Families Policy and Apple's guidelines for the Kids Category. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored by our service providers using industry-standard security measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process data on servers outside Türkiye, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Users in Türkiye can find details in our KVKK Disclosure Notice.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Users in Türkiye have the rights listed in Article 11 of Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

To use any of these rights, e-mail nekankstudio@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority; in Türkiye, this is the Personal Data Protection Board (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu).

11. This website

nekank.com does not use cookies, analytics or any tracking tools. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may record technical data such as IP address, browser type and request time in server logs for security purposes; these logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify you.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will also let you know inside the Apps.
